Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
There are a bunch of different PCR based technologies discussed and it seems like they don't always use consistent abbreviations. We need to carefully go through and make sure we are using terms consistently, especially when it comes to RT = real-time = quantitative versus RT = reverse transcriptase.

Describe the solution you'd like
Need a PR opened to address this before submission. Possibly just switch all real-time to quantitative for clarity.

Describe alternatives you've considered
