There are some fixed delays at multiple points in the process that are not long enough for all host computers. It would be better to wait until the device appears on the bus and then give up only after a (longer) timeout.

This was partially fixed by greatscottgadgets/apollo#106, but there is a similar problem in pyfwup.

There is a further fix in greatscottgadgets/pyfwup#8, but I don't think we should close this issue until the fixes in Apollo and pyfwup are released and we have updated the dependencies in Cynthion.
