I agree that the current sort order—Team creation time—is probably not the most interesting, especially since we don't list the creation time, so you can't even tell that it's sorted that way; it just seems random. But what is "most interesting"? Seems subjective. I think we should make the Team table sortable and filterable, so that people can follow their own interests in exploring Team data for themselves.

Value caching is in a sorry state across the site. Now that we've landed #3718, value caching is the next big thing I want to work on (per gratipay/inside.gratipay.com#318 (comment)).

A list of "trending" (most active) Teams would be another way to do it, "Activity" would need to be defined. See https://github.com/trending.
