This agreement may change from time to time; when it changes meaningfully we'll update the version number. Contributions to the Graphile projects including attendance in fireside chats implies acceptance of the latest version of this agreement.
All contributors and attendees must abide by the Code of Conduct, which can be found in CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md.
Contributions includes anything submitted to the project, whether that be text or code in a pull request, your spoken words or written notes in a fireside meeting, or anything else.
You must not contribute unless you are the exclusive owner of the contribution, or you have sufficient rights (including copyright rights) from the owners to make the contribution.
All contributions must be licensed under the terms of the MIT license, and are intended for the enjoyment of all users of the Graphile open source technology, perpetually and royalty-free.
All contributors must represent and warrant that they are legally entitled to grant the rights to their contributions. In all other respects, the contributions are provided "AS IS." All risks in implementing or using a contribution are assumed by the implementer and/or the user. Contributors expressly disclaim any warranties (express, implied, or otherwise)—including implied warranties of merchantability, non-infringement, fitness for a particular purpose, or title—related to the material.
ALL CONTRIBUTIONS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS”, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.
IN NO EVENT WILL ANY CONTRIBUTOR BE LIABLE TO ANY OTHER PARTY FOR LOSS OF PROFITS OR ANY FORM OF INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WITH RESPECT TO THIS AGREEMENT.
