By checking the original paper, it seems that the markdown is correct.

However, according to the iteration steps,

I think it is more probable that you swap the definition of u_k and v_k (I also tested on my local environment. It seems to make more sense to change the markdown session. Swapping u and v in code gave me wrong results)
