#450 checkmarks reflects what you will find in this version as compared to 3.5.2. Use this issue to provide feedback about this release.

THIS IS SUITABLE FOR PRODUCTION AND RECOMMENDED FOR ANDROID 10

DOCS ARE WORK IN PROGRESS AND WILL BE ONLINE SOON AND BEFORE FINAL RELEASE. UNLESS THEN, REFER TO THE DEMO APP AND DOCUMENTATION WRITTEN IN THE CODE.

If you're coming from 3.x version, prepare a cup of coffee and enter in refactoring mood.

Changelog since 4.0 Beta 2

  • UploadNotificationConfig and UploadNotificationStatusConfig are now immutable
  • introduced setting the default notification channel in the library, used by the default notification config factory
  • moved retry policy config default values out of its data class and in UploadServiceConfig
  • reduced default notification updates interval to 3 per second to disturb less the main thread
  • introduced UploadServiceConfig.initialize method to ease basic library initialization
