@TheRoyalTnetennba is this really a p1 bug? I imagine it's launch blocking but it's not (yet) a customer issue. Could we consider it type: docs only?

Deprioritizing this one. Standard YARD output does separate attributes from methods, but they're really the same thing, and it's an open question whether the separation is useful. I'll keep this open as an open question for the moment.
