The above stackTrace.first() may fail because there is no stackTrace for some reason, causing the compiler to throw an exception and interrupt compilation, without producing any meaningful diagnosis. It's then hard to tell/debug what's wrong with the code.
The original exception, I guess, is from Room. Probably due to an incorrect DAO definition or so.
