  • Reference the "Run Connector Automatically on Boot" page, where all that information is consolidated. Very little of the information on this page is actually specific to the Raspberry Pi, and the duplication causes confusion and inconsistencies.

  • the service file should be owned as root - i think having it owned by gcp allows the gcp user to escalate to root
