staticcheck randomly fails on CI

• Yes, I've tried with the standalone linter if available. (https://golangci-lint.run/usage/linters/)

folks, what do you think if I exclude go tests from "docs" changes? e.g.

• build(deps): bump gatsby-remark-responsive-iframe from 5.11.0 to 5.13.0 in /docs #2803
• build(deps): bump gatsby-plugin-sitemap from 5.11.1 to 5.13.0 in /docs #2802
• build(deps): bump gatsby-transformer-sharp from 4.11.0 to 4.13.0 in /docs #2798

fails because this issue. it's possible by adding "paths" directive for GitHub actions.

I fixed the flaky
