Maybe tip needs to have some sort of alert when a side doesn't build properly.

This particular issue has been resolved, but there's another similar one that I've opened issue #29874 for.

I think we can fold the general alerting improvements into issue #15266.

I'll close this one since there's nothing more to do here.
