Option to disable double click instance to go to scene

In the 2D/3D view if you double click on an instance of a scene, the scene gets opened in the editor. I find this behavior annoying, since I trigger it a lot by accident. I would appreciate it if there was a setting to turn that off (as far as I can tell there is none currently).
