they only seem to have a paid version on the Mac App Store? lemme know if i've missing some sort of trial version.

if it doesn't work out of the box, try adding iWriter Pro to different families. not responding properly to Vim motions should mean that they don't support the macOS Accessibility properly, which would mean that you'll have to add the app at least to the Key Mapping Family.

Tried it on apple silicon mac and it worked well. However, it didn’t on an intel mac. Best, Sangwook
