Anyway, regarding the item about clearing out the input, I don't think we should.
Imagine there's a typo in my search string. I would prefer to have that pre-filled to have a chance to fix it without having to type it again.

Example:
I type vitalik.en and hit enter.
I'd like to have the input still contain vitalik.en so I can type in the missing s and search again.

Currently, it works this way when search from the 'Not found' page in a mobile version. So it would be great to apply this logic everywhere in the app.
