Files that I delete via gdrive continue to appear in the Drive web UI. They no longer appear via gdrive files .... If I try to view the "Details" tab or download these files from the UI, I get an error. The "Activity" tab shows "You permanently deleted an item" with a timestamp. If I delete them from the UI, this also raises an error, but they do go away after that.
This seems like a bug on Google's side, or something weird with my account. I figured I'd post here in case anyone else has run into this, or figured out a way around it.
To reproduce:
gdrive files upload ... and save the id
wait a month
gdrive files delete <id>
view on web UI
Waiting a long time between upload and delete seems to be key. I'm not sure how long. It all works properly if I immediately delete after uploading.
Version:
gdrive 3.9.0
Commit: unknown
Rust: 1.68.0
Arch: x86_64
OS: linux
I just upgraded to 3.9.1 although I don't see anything related in the diff.
