What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. open .cvs file from GUI on Mac OS X
2. go to open 2nd .csv file

What is the expected output?
File open dialogue should use existing path as starting point.

 What do you see instead?
GGobi prepends "/usr/local/ggoboi/share/ggobi" to existing path to create an
invalid path, then
complains that this path does not exist. (see attached picture).

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I'm running Mac OS X v10.4.10 on a PowerPC G4
GGobi version 2.1.7 September 18 2007
X11 1.1.3 - XFree86 4.4.0
gtk from your download page

Please provide any additional information below.
In the pictures attached, my original file was at
/Users/steven/Documents/work/data

The original file is displayed correctly, and the path in the status at the
bottom of the control
window is correct (see second picture attached).
