Email verification page endless loop

 Chonky: The system to verify the email address doesn't work. 
You click the link, it brings you to the website, you enter the email address, go to the next box and type in the code, and it brings an error "The verification code is invalid or has already been used. Please try again."

It then sends you a new email with a link, and the same happens time after time.
The only way I got it working was to press the "resend code" button and use that new code in the page I resent the code from.
