Building docs should break if version can't be resolved. #3004

When resolving a version from the release-registry fails, the docs should break completely.

This way we can troubleshoot the issue and avoid publishing docs and wizard with broken installation instructions.

This issue has gone three weeks without activity. In another week, I will close it.

But! If you comment or otherwise update it, I will reset the clock, and if you label it Status: Accepted, I will leave it alone ... forever!
