This happens only with the below scenario.

Steps:

  1. Turn On Lantern
  2. Turn off wifi
  3. Go to Lantern app and switch it Off.

It will still show that Lantern is ON at the top right corner.

Another scenario is when I kill the app by going to recent apps section. Though Lantern turns Off after this, it is still considered as On.

Update: It is not turning Off after that. I mean, the key sign is not going away after so many On and Off's

It works as expected when wifi is switched off. The normal switch on and off also works fine. Doesn't matter how fast I try to do it, it works perfectly. That's awesome!

When killing the app, lantern turns off temporarily (key sign gone) but when coming back to home, the key sign is back and I am able to use the blocked apps. When I checked the lantern app, it was in switched off mode.
Though we have to fix this, I don't think this will cause any problem with user experience because when I tried to flip the switch back to ON, the key sign was still there and the switch worked fine again without any problem.
