Description

The Ghostfolio API used is an internal API for Ghostfolio, which can change at any time.
Recently a change has been introduced to Ghostfolio, that makes the homepage widget not work anymore.

Well that’s crappy. As you mentioned in the thread, the public API is totally useless for these purposes so I’m not even sure why they mention it.

im no finance bro, but is netPerformancePercentageWithCurrencyEffect at least still useful? What’s the difference?

I guess we’ll have to change to using that, I’ll take care of that later today

As far as I can gather, and from what I remember from university, I would think that netPerformancePercentageWithCurrencyEffect might actually be a better representation of performance, as it takes more stuff into account.

Yea, it turns out the same thing happened before too: #3471

Anyway, this was handled in #3987 it does seem like it would be helpful for them to have a public API for stuff like this...

You can test out in main once its done building or the change will be in our next release.

@shamoon I know this is closed, but Ghostfolio added Public API stuff in 2.109.0 - https://github.com/ghostfolio/ghostfolio/releases/tag/2.109.0

It gives you this:

Creating a Public Access ID from the My Portfolio page is needed.

No Bearer Token is needed anymore, which should make things easier, I guess.
I've taken a quick look at the code to see if I can figure out how to fix this, but this involves quite a few changes, it seems...
