Sometimes when the network suddenly goes offline, the messages can be lost and not saved to the local message queue.
Witnesses of this manifestation are mumbling something about "android.database.sqlite.SQLiteException error: database is locked" and are unable / unwilling to collaborate further.
We are investigating this.
