Hiding categories would be useful when a project is under development and we dont yet want people seeing it on the site. Right now we have to dump all applications under development into the "under development category and hide them, so we have an empty category on the homepage

being able to organise them on the homepage would also be useful eg more important, finished ones at the top, others below
