I was wondering why Travis CI didn't seem to respond to changes anymore, and now I've finally stumbled upon their error messages:

I wish I had received an email with this URL the first time it errored out...

I think the "error messages" I was talking about are the missing config and missing commit on the right. This morning I was working from stable instead of master, and this time Travis worked just fine: #74: Build created successfully. So I think a commit between stable and master has messed with the .travis.yml file in a way which makes it unreadable by Travis.

While we're at it, we should also upgrade to Travis CI's new infrastructure.

While we're at it, we should also upgrade the script to run on ghc 7.10 (and 8?) as well.

Fixed in #173 by switching to a stack-based build process, including a new stack-based Travis config.
