Change the project name to core

What happened

Hey everyone ❤️ Don't panic when you see this, there are no breaking updates to the component and you can do nothing.

Simply put, we changed the name of NPM from react to core for the sake of open source branding consistency. I stopped maintaining the Vue project and am going to focus on the React component library.
Now the changes are as follows:

NPM

✅ The original NPM package will still continue to release versions (only patches).

• Old -> geist-ui/react
• New -> geist-ui/core (yarn add @geist-ui/core)

And icon package:

• Old -> geist-ui/react-icons
• New -> geist-ui/icons

GitHub

✅ GitHub will automatically add a redirect to the original repo URL, so if you reference the original URL, it will work just as well.

• Old -> geist-org/react
• New -> geist-org/geist-ui

For migration

Migration is not mandatory.
If you only need to get patches updates, then you can ignore the migration.

1. Replace the old package name with: yarn remove @geist-ui/react && yarn add @geist-ui/core.
2. Replace the icon package with: yarn remove @geist-ui/react-icons && yarn add @geist-ui/icons.
3. Global replacement within your project: (command + control + F)
   • replace geist-ui/react-icons to geist-ui/icons
   • replace gesit-ui/react to geist-ui/core

These renames are intended to keep new developers from getting confused and to simplify the naming of GitHub and NPM repositories, it's easier now: Gesit UI is gesit-ui/core. 🎉 By the way, ✋ here is the invitation link for Slack, everyone is welcome.

发生了什么

大家好 ❤️ 看到这条消息不要担心，这里没有任何破坏性更新，如果愿意你可以什么都不做。

长话短说，为了更高的保持开源品牌的一致性，我们把 Npm 的包名从 react 改为了 core。后续我们不再维护 Vue project 项目，并将精力集中在 React 组件库上。(所以这里就是 Geist UI，不再有 React 和 Vue 之分)

以下是一些变化：

NPM

✅ 原有的 NPM 仓库也会继续发布版本 (patches)

• 旧的 -> geist-ui/react
• 新的 -> geist-ui/core (yarn add @geist-ui/core)

另外还有图标库:

• 旧的 -> geist-ui/react-icons
• 新的 -> geist-ui/icons

GitHub

✅ GitHub 仓库名字虽然发生变化但会自动重定向，如果你曾经引用了项目地址，什么都不用做，URL 还会正常工作。

• 旧的 -> geist-org/react
• 新的 -> geist-org/geist-ui

迁移内容

这不是强制性的迁移
如果你只需要接收 Patches 版本更新，那么可以忽略迁移。

1. 替换旧的包名: yarn remove @geist-ui/react && yarn add @geist-ui/core.
2. 替换图标库: yarn remove @geist-ui/react-icons && yarn add @geist-ui/icons.
3. 在你的项目中使用全局替换: (command + control + F)
   • 替换 geist-ui/react-icons 为 geist-ui/icons
   • 替换 gesit-ui/react 为 geist-ui/core
