I am experiencing this behaviour and I would like to share with you, I probably doing something wrong here. After reboot I can see gecko machine online status but when I am connecting fails after (a couple of minutes...) with no errors. I disabled firewall so there is no firewall blocking.
Another thing weird is that if I am restarting teamviewerd show running status but on the client shows OFFLINE status. Even on the host (where teamviewer daemon is running) the teamviewer. I workaround this by restarting the display manager (xdm).
