Before the release, we have to

Incorporate any final changes/discoveries into the release notes

On the day of the release, we have to disseminate the notes

to all SecureDrop users FPF is aware of through its support portal (requires @conorsch due to the use of a fragile custom script)
to theSecureDrop blog
via @securedrop on Twitter
