Problem

This wacky use-case exists. As such, new messaging needs to be drafted that includes the hide/show codename widget within it per comments discussion.

Thank you @DrGFreeman for your patience with all our chatter and debate around this, in your PR; this situation of a UX problem/regression arising from a technical issue being fixed, is incredibly rare. I will post the end solution in the PR, once it has been completed!
