Feature Request: - Pilot Mic

I do lots of "quick" videos for my flying club's facebook page.
Currently I use my phone to record the chat going on between the pilots and use that as the sound track for the video.
It would be really cool if it was possible to plug a Mic into the AV port on the googles and record that with the DVR. (I would make my life so much easier - I'm happy to pay for the work).
