Feature Reorder sidebar sections #13440
Comments
Thanks for the report, I've added this to the project board. Detail layout column reordering is tracked in #8385. You can check there or click subscribe in the right sidebar for updates. |
@SandeeepKiran thank you for your feedback, we don't have plans to allow reordering the sidebar sections. Have you considered pinning the cloud drives to the favorites section? |
Thank you for the kind words. Files has support for displaying shell extensions in the context menu, so developers can provide extensions that way. Another feature coming in v3, is support for custom preview handlers in the preview pane. |
Yes, I have. Onedrive - Personal This feature would greatly help work users, in a work environment. As I am aware more Users in business have more cloud storages to manage per Project. |
Support for a tree view is also being planned, so I think that'll help in regards to pinning sub folders. |
Tree view is being planned in #1928. |
What feature or improvement do you think would benefit Files?
I use my cloud drive 95% of the time and everything else rarely.
Thus I would love to have my below HOME, and above FAVORITES.

Amazing app. Would love if there was a plugin support for more devs to make plugins as well, so the Files app is not over crowded with features most would not use.
