Lotus releases

**Note: This projected timeline is subject to change based on testing, auditing, new discoveries, and development.

You may follow the development progress in #fil-lotus-dev, #fil-actors channels in Filecoin Slack where daily development happpens.**

You will need to be on Lotus v1.20.0 or ^ for the Network v18 Hygge upgrade. We recommend all lotus users to test on calibration network as soon as the first release candidate is out, and update your mainnet nodes as soon as the final v1.20.0 release is tagged.

• 2023-02-14, lotus v1.20.0-rc1 (Note: This release candidate only sets upgrade epoch for Calibration-testnet, does not set the upgrade epochs for mainnet.)
• 2023-02-17, lotus v1.20.0-rc2 (Note: This release candidate only sets upgrade epoch for Calibration-testnet, does not set the upgrade epochs for mainnet. Recommended for node operators who will provide ETH service.)
• 2023-02-21T16:30:00Z, epoch 322354 Calibration-testnet upgrade
• 2023-02-28, lotus v1.20.0
• 2023-03-14, 3:14PM UTC @ epoch 2683348, mainnet upgrade

🌟 Lotus v1.20.0-rc1 & Calibrationnet nv18 Hygge Upgrade

lotus v1.20.0-rc1 is out! The calibration-net upgrade is set at epoch 322354 on 2023-02-21T16:30:00Z. For more release and upgrade details, please see the release note here.

In this upgrade, we wil introduce user programbility to the network. We recommend all lotus users joining the calibration net, update your nodes and test your system! We strongly encourage service providers and application developers to staging and testing your service and applications in this pre-production network!
