So that lawyers can easily access a hard copy of all the materials of a given case, implement a way for users to combine all of an AO or enforcement action's PDFs into a single file that can be printed all together.


Currently, if users want to print the components of a case, they need to print each one separately, which can be very tedious. We'd like to make it possible to print all materials at once. This is a follow up to making the printing of the HTML meta data of a case work well.

This seems to be a use-case for a small audience, but an audience that needs to do this quite a bit.

Some UX and technical considerations to make:

  • How do you warn people if they're about to print 800 pages?
  • Is there a separate "print all" button?
  • What kind of behind-the-scenes magic does it take to combine all PDFs into one?

I'm putting this in the icebox for now. We can either look at it as an enhancement this quarter if we have time or otherwise it can be prioritized for next quarter.
