It was recently observed that the entries in the redesignation/reattribution example have the same exact date, even though we usually try to highlight that for regular redesignation/reattribution, rather than presumptive redesignation/reattribution, the date of the first entry would be the original contribution date, and the date(s) of the redesignation/reattribution entries would be later on.
An updated would be an improvement to distinguish between conventional redesignations/reattributions and the presumptive version or each.
Proposed changes:
Contribution given and redesignated/reattributed in the same reporting period
This example does not specifically state that we are dealing with presumptive redesignation/reattribution, so we should change the dates of the memo entries to later dates.
Contribution given and redesignated/reattributed in different reporting periods
The dates in the second and third entry should not be the same as the original contribution date. They should be dates in the next reporting period, to match the name of the example – for instance, in April, May, or June.
Updated the images to use dates that better represent the timeline of a non-presumptive redesignation/reattribution within and across reporting periods.

Redesignation from/to on 2/18/18

Summary
