Error navigating from eRegs to other parts of the site #4563

I can't reproduce this error now, but I think we've had this issue come up in the past. |
Jeff just came upstairs and I reproduced the error for him, so he's on it. It's not pressing, just a glitch I wanted to log. |

Except now that I am in my office I still can't reproduce it! Amy P. can you grab the URL of the page you are on when the navigation gives you an error. Please? |

@jwchumley @amypike @AmyKort There is indeed a bug! Thanks for reporting, and we have this logged within the eregs https://github.com/18F/fec-eregs/issues/364 repo. There's some redirects that are happening in the code that should not be there, so we've got to take a closer look at the application bug and deploy a fix. Sorry for the inconvenience. Closing this issue for now as there is an open bug that we are tracking. |
What were you trying to do and how can we improve it?
I am trying to move from e-regs back to "help for candidates and committees" using the top line navigation and am receiving an error message ("internal server error"). Clicking on all top line navigation ("campaign finance data," "help for candidates and committees," "legal resources") produces the same error message.
