"extrude" always cause errors

How to use the function callled extrude?

I want to try the function callled extrude, but no matter how I tried, IDE always told that "extrude" cause errors.

What I've tried.：
I have used three-dimonsionals,planars,and their faces. Meanwhile, I also have used these with mesh applied.
But still, IDE told that "extrude" cause errors.

Okey, I found the function that extrude used in .cpp, and I manage to make it can work,but only to find the function"extrude" can only work on square? Why?

The extrude tool does not appear to be working, and I'm not sure if it's been fully implemented. I will look into this further and let you know when it's working.
