What is the ASCII-thing in the README.md supposed to depict?

Given that googling "web app shelf" or whatever arrangement of similar words does not help understanding what a "collapsible left shelf" is, would it be possible to see a couple of screenshots of a coffin in the README?

I believe nesting a pic costs 100X less time than weaving that incomprehensible ASCII-artwork. Thank you for your attention.
