Question: Hide Navigator

I have an App where I need to show the default Navigationbar. But in one screen the user is able to rotate the device and when this happens I need to hide the Navigationbar and later show it again. What would be the best way to archive this? I hate the idear to set is visible to false and reimplement the Navigationbar inside of the screen. Then transition animations are not displayed correct.
