Search Functionality

We need design a user interface for searching. Web application implements searching elements by name, but what are the other possible search targets, for example would it make sense to search a compound by name?

This discussion requires feedback from people who are familiar with chemistry, teachers, scientists etc. (@erenerinanc ?)

Possible search queries

• Search an element by name
• Search a compound by name
• Search a compound by its elements (maybe there is a chemist notation?)
