For more information as to the benefits of allowing users to integrate the Travel Time or Geoapify APIs, instead of the Google Maps API, see the following blog post on the Travel Time website or the Geoapify website.

  • would be achieved by moving all Google Maps API or ArcGIS API functionality to a gisService which relies on the provided environment variables and/or application settings to indicate which API to utilize when.
