Need to define format for string labels of poses - fixed length strings allow the data to be held in an ndarray - easier compatibility with pickle/hickle. pose dicts which hold poses for different labelled objects should not be interpretted as trajectories, by plot functions/visualiser, for example - is there a principled way to enforce this?
