I'm on TinySA Ultra using newest firmware tinySA4_v1.4-177-g1687fbc.bin and, reproducibly, every time I enter the menu DISPLAY/BIG NUMBERS I stop getting any signal. Literally I was observing a single CW tone and pretending to hunt it with a directional antenna and it disappears (nada) immediately after entering BIG NUMBERS. At first this astounded me, and I ended up changing antenna to an omnidirectional (nada). Changed antenna to a direct SMA-to-SMA cable between the signal generator and the TinySA Ultra and also "nada". Not possible.
I thought I had fried the TinySA or something because running a self test was failing on the "signal level test". But it turns out doing a CONFIG/MORE/CLEAR CONFIG 1234, followed by self test, and calibration it is all good and I can see the pilot CW tone again no problem and all other measurements.
However, if I dare enter DISPLAY/BIG NUMBERS it is again dead in the water. Related 3-4 times and always fails, and always recovers as per procedure above. Looking forward to a future firmware update that does NOT break the BIG NUMBER as I thought it was silly at first (too big), but at my age it was the best thing every to handheld track a fox.
