Disk Drivers (Mac)
Important
If you are looking for BlueSCSI v2 documentation please go here: https://github.com/BlueSCSI/BlueSCSI-v2/wiki
The drivers you use either with a pre-made image or yourself can make all the difference between having a bootable machine or one that crashes at startup.
Apple drivers are compatible with almost every Mac. Formatting can take hours so grab one of our pre-formatted blanks from the Usage page instead of formatting on a vintage machine.
If you are making an image to share with many different systems, this is the best choice.
Using Drive Setup on System 7.1+ is recommended for 68030 machines and above.
NOTE: Drive Setup drivers will not work on a Macintosh Plus; use Apple HD SC Setup.
LIDO is not recommended as it affects performance and is incompatible with the Macintosh Plus.
Does work but does not seem to improve performance or compatibility over LIDO.
Incompatible with the Macintosh Plus.
