Describe the bug

[CTD] Crash to the desktop may be observed, if the UI element used to open the OPTIONS menu is clicked on repeatedly, followed by closing one of the menus duplicated this way and moving the cursor over an element of the remaining Options panels.

Steps to reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Move the Mouse cursor onto OPTIONS in the main menu.
  2. Quickly and repeatedly press the Left Mouse Button a few times,
    duplicating the Options menu.
  3. Wait until the game responds to inputs again, then click on the Back button in the bottom left.
  4. Move the cursor over an element on one of the remaining Options panels,
such as S.L.A.M. Glow on the Gameplay tab,
or click on a tab up top (e.g. Audio or Video) until the game crashes.

Expected behavior

The game should not crash when OPTIONS is pressed repeatedly

Additional context

A side effect of this is that applying Resolution or Display mode changes on the Video tab can take an extended amount of time, which may look like a crash; though this could be considered a separate issue entirely. (If the additional Options menus were not yet closed and EZ2 did not crash before.)

The amount of times the OPTIONS menu was duplicated can influence how long it takes for these changes to be applied.

These additional panels have a potentially significant impact on framerate as well, with a change from ~70-75 FPS to ~15-25 in the menu having been observed in testing.

For reference, when this was encountered, ca. 70 Options panels had to be closed using the Back button to at least temporarily restore a normal framerate in the menu.
