Hi guys,

We started similar discussion about the JS playback spec here: itteco/oembed2#1

To contribute to the progress, I'd prefer to reference your spec, especially that it is now backed by the player.js connector.

How can we accomplish this in terms of the copyright? We'll work to get publishers on board from our side, if the common spec is Creative Commons.

Also, please take a look into proposal by @bdougherty of Vimeo. It is very similar to what you got, but might need to unify a little. For example, adding error event would be important.

Hi Ivan,

Good to hear from you again and we will put the spec into Creative Commons.

I like @bdougherty proposal. We will start adding some of the methods that Brad suggested.

Closing, for now.
