Is there any workaround to fix this? Just installed e6 on a friends laptop, and while the stunning, gorgeous UI (especially the fonts) were one of the big things in e5, the new release unfortunately looks rather ugly on that device.
Just as a note: Meanwhile, I tried elementary on a different device (Dell laptop, HiDPI display built-in, external LoDPI monitor connected). On the HiDPI, elementary easily is the most appealing Linux desktop available to date. On LoDPI, font rendering quality unfortunately is unusable. Is there any way to fix or ease this?
What Happened
Fonts don't look sharp, a bit pixelated comparing to windows in same display.

Expected Behavior
Fonts could be more sharp and legible at good distance from the monitor.
