It also seems to say "...which this homeserver has marked as unstable", regardless of the room version :-/

Shouldn't it distinguish between experimental room versions and obsolete/insecure rooms?

This usually means it wasn't able to determine the homeserver's capability. It does distinguish these things.

Can someone point me to documentation on this? I have lost connection to all my server rooms with this warning, and I was not expecting to migrate rooms every time a new version comes up, we dont want to lose our room history.

@alan-cugler It is a bug that room upgrade warnings are shown when you lose connection to the server #16068. Do not upgrade rooms when that happens.

What version of Element are you on?

Please respond in #16068, rather than this issue which is just about it being ugly.
