Ability to set size per search

Currently in 5.x it is only possible to define the size for a search globally for all searches, but when including a search in a dashboard it may be useful (not least to reduce the impact of large search results on the browser and cluster) to have a limited number of results returned, and different searches may warrant different search sizes

I agree, they're the same issue. I like the framing of the old issue more too, thinking about the size "per panel" in a dashboard. I don't think size should be a part of the saved search itself because the desired size is going to be very dependent on the context. We could probably expose size configuration as a part of the SearchSource API and allow each application to control it as appropriate for that context.
