With the new capability to preconfigure an alert history index connector, it would be nice to track how many users are using this new capability. This will help us understand the impacts future changes or removal may have.

cc @arisonl if there are further metrics than enabled / disabled we would like to track.

It might be good also to capture how many alerts are using this preconfigured connector. (on top of who turned on the configuration).
