[Visualize] Ability to filter visualisations by metadata (author, created date, modified date etc) #84227

Some Kibana clusters have 1000s of users who all create visualisations for their own purposes. This causes the list of visualisations to grow very long and impossible to browse.

The most common use case I see is filtering visualisations by a specific user - often yourself. Other use cases could be filtering visualisations by modified date, to find the most recent visualisations - perhaps in combination with a filter on a specific author.

This is standard functionality in most other products that have long lists of objects. Think Google Drive, Gmail etc. It would be great if similar functionality was available in Kibana.

Great, looks like the metadata is something other people also need. I don't see my primary use case (filtering by author) mentioned anywhere so I'll drop a comment about that.

@sqren it's actually listed at the top, but crossed out- but it's a good point, maybe the available information about authors has changed since that issue was written
