Describe the feature:

When using Discover with a fixed timeframe and refreshing the view, the hits might increase if there has been new data back filled, but it's currently not visible which bucket(s) received the data.

Suggestions: a small indicator, changing color for a short period of time or one/two times flashing of the bucket would be really helpful.

Not only a good idea for a fixed time range, but also when refreshing time ranges with the "now"-option.

This would be useful for timeseries-index that is fed from multiple sources, so one could see immediately if a source is behind on data delivery due to a bottleneck in the stack.
I like the idea!

added this to our long term goals, would be a nice improvement we could take care of, once we refactored data fetching, removed angular (although, it's not a simple task, but it would be useful)

Closing this because it's not planned to be resolved in the foreseeable future. It will be tracked in our Icebox and will be re-opened if our priorities change. Feel free to re-open if you think it should be melted sooner.

@kertal kertal closed this as not planned Won't fix, can't repro, duplicate, stale Nov 6, 2023
