I am using 7.7 (Kibana and Elastic) on the elastic cloud. I have a dashboard with a timelion graph that splits by a field. If I add a filter to choose that field, the filter is not applied and I still see all lines.

Steps:

Create a timelion visualization with a split.
Add the visualization to a dashboard.
Add a filter to pick one of entries from the split field.
Only a single plot using the filtered value should be shown, but all lines are still visible.

Same happens with us. We do have a dashboard with 2 timelion visualizations and a filter. Filter is not propagated to the timelion visualizations. Any idea for a workaround?

@timroes thanks for the quick update. What is the expectation of releasing 7.0.1, as We are blocked and we need to find a way to downgrade Kibana or wait for the bugfix.

We are currently targeting early in June (first weeks) for 7.7.1 to be released.
